5G and Beyond / BHUSHAN, Bharat
Titre : 5G and Beyond Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : BHUSHAN, Bharat, Auteur ; KUMAR SHARMA, Sudhir, Auteur Editeur : Editions des itinéraires scientifiques Année de publication : 2024 Importance : 305 p. Présentation : couv. illus. en coul. Format : 23 cm. ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-9931-271-49-6 Langues : Français (fre) Catégories : 06 Informatique Mots-clés : The Fifth-generation (5G) Network Architectures Wireless Backhaul Optimization Algorithm 5G and Internet of Things-Integration Trends. Index. décimale : 06-02 Système et réseaux de communication Résumé : The Fifth-generation (5G) Networks Cintinue to emerge through evolved Technolo-gies and new models of Cellular Operations. The Key advances over preceding gener-ations include multi-interface access, spectrum extensions, network softwarization powered by Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Software-Defined Networking (SDN), etc. Recent year have witnessed an unprecedented rise in the use of portable computing devices such as laptops, tablets, smartphones, and machine-type devices interconnected via Internet of Things (loT). The emergence of such innovative online service and mobile applications poses unprecedented challanges to the 5G networks. Therefore, there is a need for novel solutions (such as New Radio (NR) interface in millimeter-wave (mmWave) bands, beamforming, and massive Multiple-Input Multiple (massive MIMO) to optimize the use of finite radio spec-trum ressource. Futher, the futur networks are expected to meet several require-ments such as increased networks capacity, latency, energy efficiency, reliability, heterogeneity, and Quality-of-Service (QoS) demands.
